Important Dates -

The clubhouse is under repair and will not be ready for a meeting. We will be meeting in the Kelso FBO. Snacks at 6:30 and a meeting at 7:00. We will have an executive meeting at 5:30 at said FBO.

Upcoming stuff

Denny has graciously agreed to host our club meeting. He has a coffee pot on all the time. Jerry will bring ice cream. Don't count on any exotic grub like we normally have. If anyone wants to bring any snacks, they should feel welcome to do so.

It would be a great idea to come prepared to trade a few of your dollars for any one of Denny's fine books he has for sale.

Bill Heath will be in charge of both meetings.

Bill Heath will also be the program.  What's the program, ask you?  An update on his 701. Getting closer to the skies every day!

Do you get the EAA Hotline emailed to you?  If not, sign up!  It is easy and free for EAA members.

Legislative Stuff

I hope everyone took the chance to voice their opposition to the latest attempt by Capital Hill to increase our taxes on General Aviation.  Want to know more?  Ask any of us!!

Plastic pilot certificate deadline approaches

The deadline for switching to plastic pilot certificates is upon us. Paper pilot certificates will no longer be valid after March 31; don’t let procrastination ground you. The cost for a new certificate is $2. Temporary and student pilot certificates are not impacted by the rule.

And please remember the dues are due. Winter is our time of most expense. Annual  EAA insurance is due and the power bill always is higher.

Jerry and Judy Sorrell recently returned form vacation in AZ and visited with Gary Trenner and Bianca Elmer in Marana AZ.. Gary and Bianca send greetings.

Gary Trenner waiting for all of us

Jerry and Judy included the Pima Air Museum in their tour. This is a must see if you are in the southern AZ area.
