EAA CHAPTER 1111 MEETING

THIS THURSDAY SEPT 7TH 7 PM.

NEW CLUBHOUSE SOUTH OF THE KELSO AIRPORT FBO

 

From last month: Aug 3rd 2006 Minutes

Guests: Welcome  Al Peracy and Ed Hayes: Lower Columbia Amateur Radio Club “Hams”.

 

Program: Oshkosh report by CR. This will be more extensive for the next meeting.

 

Old Business:

·                    Lots of work done, floor, counter, windows etc.

·                    Permit still pending

·                    Roof still leaking, appears to be pulled fasteners

 

New Business:

·                    Gary bought Tables and Chairs, to be reimbursed. $656.67

·                    Still owe Steve Steinhoff for $200 for Formica.

·                    This is warbird weekend. Our chapter hangar will be used as a staging and R&R area for the pilots. Tables and news chairs will be set up for that purpose. 

 

Treasurer Report: Al Drewry:  Checking 1419.87, Savings 11,028.01

FOR THE SEPTEMBER 7th MEETING:

 

Program: Chapter Prez Charlie Rosenzweig will present a slide show of his trip to Oshkosh.

 

Old Business:

·                    We have our building permit and at less cost than we thought!– YES!!!

·                    $14,000 – Details and documentation

·                    Work Parties – Dates – Type of work - Shower

·                    Facilities Manager

 

New Business:

·                    Elections committee

·                    Agreements 44/45

·                    Keys for A-6 – Pending construction

·                    Annual meeting and elections of 2007 officers

Committee Reports:   Tech Report: Jerry Sorrell will have a tech report at the meeting.

 

Soon to fly:  There is a true rumor that Fernando Cugliavan is painting his RV-9A. Overall, he built this project over many, many  mornings between 4 and 6 a.m. That is dedication. There is another RV-9 A under construction in Lexington that the Tech will soon visit. (The Tech wishes this was his RV-9A.)
