Monthly Meeting Agenda
January 4th, 2007
Happy New Year!
We are soon to have our first meeting of 2007 this Thursday, Jan 4th @ 7 pm ( Exec board meets at 5:30).
Program: Warm Up With a Flight to Mexico!
Jim and Mary Ann McClellan will have a slide show of their RV-4 aerial adventure into Mexico.
Work Day Planning: Much done before Christmas and more to go. Nothing happens unless you are there to make it happen.
Join us at 7. The heat and the coffee will be on and snacks will be provided.
Dues for 2007 are due:
The annual dues for our chapter are $48.00 per year. This applies towards our insurance, EAA national dues, utilities and hangar rent to the city.
Progress on the A-7 Clubhouse:
Much has happened since the last meeting.
Windows framed in, floor in place in the main area, electrical and plumbing cleaned up and working. We have hot water! Upstairs floor reinforcing underway. To accomplish some of this, the building committee hired a plumber, carpenter and electrician. We still have much to do and we need your help. If you can not help, could you donate to the building fund so we could hire a carpenter finisher in your place? Let Dwight know if you want to pay for work if you can't make it. An $80 donation will cover a carpenter finisher for a full day.
The sooner we get the clubhouse done, the sooner the city will apply our improvement as a credit on the rent and the sooner A-6 will have room to safely put an airplane in it. ( This is equal to about $300 month that we are paying now for both A-6 and A-7 spaces)
Steve Steinhoff:
Jerry Sorrell talked to Steve Steinhoff, our former VP who moved to Arkansas last summer. All is well in Arkansas and he gifts to the chapter the Formica which he was entitled to $260 for his expense for this. Learn more about Steve and his Chapter 732
