Program: We are honored to have Michael T Benedict, FAA Safety Team Program Manger from the Hillsboro, Oregon FSDO Office.

 

Mike will present a briefing about the new FAA Safety Team and then will discuss risk management and the latest local accident data. The emphasis will be on local hazards.

 

Dues for 2007 are due:

The annual dues for our chapter are $48.00 per year. This applies towards our insurance, EAA national dues, utilities and hangar rent to the city.

 

Treasurer's Report from Janaury:

Checking $2,158.37
Savings $5,589.41 ( less about $1,000 for the Young Eagles memorial)

( There is about $1,000 to be paid out for hangar rent, utilities and A-7 materials purchase reimbursements. )

 

Fernando Cuglievan Taking Flying Lessons (Finally;-)!!

With the new RV-9A sitting in the garage, the time has arrived for Fernando to get that license. He is now taking lessons at Kelso Aviation. Let's all keep our heads down;-)!

EXTRA! EXTRA! Lancair Lovers Caught Red-Handedly Drooling at Van's!!!!

At the close of August, Van's Aircraft hosts an annual homecoming at his kit plane plant at theAurora Airport. Our candid camraman caught some Lewis Lancair types (far left) seemingly enthralled with Van's RV technology. ( This evidence is posted on Van's web site for the world to see.)

 


Once again, our next chapter meeting is on Thursday, February 1st at 7:00p.m. at our Clubhouse at Kelso Hangar A7.
